How much does a carton of eggs cost where you live?

O_O Ehm. Free-range eggs here are about...1.80 Euros? Sometimes they're cheaper, as we're in a region where a lot of people keep chickens.

Not sure you were interested in Dutch prices as well, but there you go.

Boring old run of the mill, non-fancy, medium sized Michigan eggs are usually about 1.69ish.

Store brand, about $1.50. Fancy brands featuring extra omega-3, cage-free or vegetarian-fed, about $3.50 to $4.50. Also, brown eggs cost more than white eggs.

Have you ever seen the pastel-colored eggs? There is a breed of chicken that actually lays pastel-colored eggs. I've seen those eggs sell for $1 each at upscale "farmer's markets" catering to rich people.
