I'm trying to find articles/discussions about the fine line girls feel they need to walk regarding sexual activity. Too much and you're a slut, not enough and you're repressed, and all Google gives me is: Everything's fine! Women are free now YAY.

I know they talk about this on Feministing a lot -- one of the bloggers there just released a book called The Purity Myth about it. I searched for purity and a lot of posts with links to related articles came up, but I'm not sure if they're what you're looking for, and some of them are not related to your interests (like a discussion on feminism-ing a blogger's wedding plans).

Thanks: This paragraph--Touting girls and girlhood as ideal forms of sexuality is simply another way of advancing the notion that to be desirable, women need to be un-adults--young, naive, and impressionable. Being independent, assured, and grown up has no place in this disconcerting model-- is exactly what I'm looking for. I now have keywords for searching!
