Zomg. So close to finishing the 872nd first draft of “Crows”…

To Do
--Recast one sentence so that it’s clear which “he” is doing what.
--Write the Paragraph That Refuses To Be Created. YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY.
--Refine that paragraph because I KNOW when it finally does come around, it’s going to be disheveled, smelly and drunk.
--Convert a total clunker of a sentence into the active voice.
--Spell-check.
--Look up the words so badly mangled that even the spell-checker doesn’t know what I’m talking about.
--Final read-through.
--Doubt everything.
--CRY.
--CRY again.
--Send to beta.

Is your writing group getting anymore tolerable?

Oh, it's not intolerable. Just dull. Nobody's written anything that truly interests me. Nobody's got a plot line that makes me want to turn the pages, or characters that I am genuinely interested in.
