Favorite food to crunch: Popcorn, pickles, Cheeze-Its Party Mix.

Favorite comfort food: Ice cream, garlic mashed potatoes, lasagne.

Favorite picnic lunch: BBQ anything, cornbread, lots o' sides.

Favorite food scene in movie: Big Night: the morning after their big bid to save their restaurant fails, Stanley makes everyone breakfast by swirling a bit of olive oil and a few eggs in a pan. Gorgeous scrambled eggs result. I took it to mean that they were going back to the simple pleasures of life after excess had failed them.

Favorite food lyrics: "The scent of burnt sugar on your sking" Duran Duran.

Best food smell memory: That nasty cookie frosting made from powdered sugar, dye and milk. Hated the frosting, loved decorating Christmas cookies with my dad.

Favorite summer snack: Tuna boats. Tuna, red onion, bal. vinegar piled on halved roma tomatoes.

Food that reminds me of the ocean: Crab-stuffed baked shrimp. I eat about 78 pounds of the stuff when we go to Chincoteague.

Favorite winter snack: Hot teas and Chais, pumpkin cookies with raisins.

Most likely to eat for lunch: Leftovers.

Least likely to eat for lunch: Burger King. I got sick off a burger once, and since then BK's smell has made me queasy.

Makes me gag: the smell of raw meat.

Food tradition I love: Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving food. And the thing is, it's pretty guilt free. I know it's coming, so I adjust my eating the rest of the week, and the basics of meal: turkey, sweet potatoes, roasted vegetables, etc. a pretty clean eats. Take it easy on the butter, gravy and breads and it's a meal that does your body good.

Food tradition I loathe: Christmas at the drunkard grandma's. Buttered hotdogs and frozen pizza. Yeah, you read that right. I haven't gone since I was 17.

Favorite wild foods: Dandelions, raspberries.

Favorite medicinal food: Apple cider vinegar, teas.

Food that reflects my heritage: Hotdish, Spam. Canned pudding. All things white trash and nasty.

Food most like me: Pepper. Jazzes everything up, also an irritant.

Favorite raw food smell: Garden-fresh veggies like tomatoes or cucumbers that smell peppery and spicy.

Raw Pre-show: An office lit by only a single lightbulb, eerie wails and pained whimpering drift by. Steph stands center stage, one hand on her hip, the other pinching Carlito’s ear. The Bon-bon’s hair has been shorn. Badly. Gum-in-a-two-year-old’s-hair –then-cut-out-by-a-drunk-six-year-old badly. It’s cocoa-colored florist foam, misshapen and hardpacked from a week’s soaking in a vase of ugly juice. Oh, Bon-Bon! What did they do to you?
Steph: Ha, Opera, who’s the size 12 now?
Opera: Is the TV talking to me? Lord, the vapors!
Carlito: Help m--
Steph: Do you have something to say Carlito?
Carlito: Carlito doesn’t get how you being thick and Opera being mean about it lead to Carlito getting a Kid-n-Play the Meth Years haircut. THERE ARE TUFTS IN CARLITO’S HAIR. AND BALD SPOTS. WHY?
Steph: Someone had to be punished.
Carlito: Isn’t Matt Hardy her precious? Cut his hair.
Steph: Like anything we did to his hair would be worse the hackjobs he usually walks around with. Same with Daivari. And our lawyers gave us some BS threats about not cutting Christian’s hair because he doesn’t actually work for us.
Carlito: Can I wear a hat?
Steph: Yes. Ashleys.
Opera: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
