Day 09 - A song that you can dance to: Personal Jesus - Depeche Mode
Oh, man. Back in college, I volunteered for Safe Rides. No one ever called us except for chicks who needed a ride because their BFF hooked up with some dude and left them stranded. This meant a lot of hanging around, not getting drunk ourselves. Mostly we gamed. Nerd ahoy! Otherwise we played dodge ball, made out, got caught making out, or listened to music.
One night, while we listened to Personal Jesus, I mentioned how much the song sounds like square dancing music, and thus a square dancing marathon began. Well, square dancing/line dancing/goof fest.
And now, the song can never be something I take seriously.
