What a dullsville show tonight. Oddly, the two singers I liked best were the two the judges crapped on (the girl who wore shorts while singing Kansas and the actress who reworked Mrs. Jones), and the singers I liked least the judges went bonkers for. You're so vain is not a happy, boppy, smile while singing it song geez. Also, I found out that the girl I've been calling "Mrs. Potato Head" is Irish, so now I feel skeesy. I was insulting your tuber head, not your heritage! The judges liked her too, and she sounded like a cruise ship talent. Bleh.

The two girls I'm rooting against crashed and burned tonight. Even when rooting against someone it's sad to watch a flame out. I *should* like Cruella DeRocker, but I just can't. She hits all my rough broad buttons, but something just goes CLUNK. I generally don't like the rockers in Idol. I guess because it's a POP competition. I'm not a fan of Asia'H either. Cheesy isn't quite the right word to describe her and I don't think she's insincere, but her performances come off... I don't know... sort of like how M. Hardy's promos always sound like he is Ack-ting. That's what she reminds me of.

On the boy side I have no idea what's going on. Moe likes Big Brother and it's on at the same time so I only get to see snatches of Idol during commercial breaks and usually the commercial breaks are synced so all I end up seeing are those stupid Chevrolet commericals with Hail to the Chief playing even though Presidents' Day was 16 weeks ago.
