May. 2nd, 2011 06:08 pmHonestly, I was pretty freaked when the first notices about President Obama's announcement started scrolling across the TV screen. Then I was really bummed when the news about Bin Laden broke before Obama spoke. It could have been a moment for this country, instead I had to hear the news from creepy-creepy David Gregory.
The First Amendment. Let's review. It protects against infringement on free speech. It does not guarantee a platform for your views. It does not provide protection against any repercussions for having said what you said. It does not in any force me to listen to your asinine thoughts. Lastly, by its nature, it allows others to voice a contrary opinion.
