Work and Smackdown
Jan. 14th, 2006 10:09 amAt work I had the first -good- day in long time. Sad thing is, it had nothing to do with actually working. Bad Employee!Opera had a good day because it was a day spent goofing off. Our financial analyst and I have a running drama about two imaginary co-workers: Grant and Alan. Grant and Alan feud. The sabotage each other, they swear under their breath, they'd like nothing better than to see the other fired.
Grant's impossible to like because he's such a dick. Alan is so whiney and convinced of his own matyrdom that we can't cheer for him either. Yesterday, instead of working, we just yammered about their exploits (Omg, Grant didn't refill the printer's paper tray, and Alan called him a son-of-a-bitch in front of everyone).
So yeah, I think we both need to think about a career change.
SD! ( Where have all the cowboys gone? )
