Wrestling Spam and a little fandom O.O

Heard on the radio, this afternoon, that Brock signed with the Minnesota Vikings. Somewhere, Vince is swearing and watching his WMXXI dreams wither.

Forgot to mention this in my Raw recap. If Stacy K is deeply concerned about our nation's job growth, then I am deeply concerned about nectarines. Good Lord, why are they treated like second class peaches?

Read on fandom wank about the chick with 21 or so sock puppets. The funny thing is, while teh_wacky made me laugh, the whole story made me realize what a teeny-tiny, little dot wrestling fandom is. I mean, if a wrestling fan decided to get 20 extra personalities, our population would increase by 33%.

and keeping with the revelation theme, I read an HP fic that was recc'd to me (and I don't care for anymore, thanks). The story was well-written, and the porny goodness was YUM. But, the story read pretty flat to me. There was some mindfuckery going on between Snape and Malfoy, but I had no idea what the mindfuckery was about. There was blackmailing, but I had no clue over what. There were lines that obvisously meant more than what they appeared to on the surface.

It reinforced my previous whining thinking that a good story needs a good writer AND a reader who gets the story.
