Jr's commentary is much, much more fun to listen to if you decide to think that he's talking about how good/awful the wrestlers are in bed.
Evolution coming out, in various states of undress. Hee! I did not like the cut of Triple H's shirt. The over sized collar made it look like he was wearing a shirt that was several sizes too big.
Flair, Orton and Batista are very good at being able to stand around in a ring, doing nothing while other people speak and not look like idiots. That's a skill not alot of wrestlers have. Most start wandering around, looking at the crowd or ceiling. Evolution knows how to stay involved, even when they're not involved. And HHH calling the other wrestlers "mean". I love how when he speaks to Eugene, his voice gets higher.
Jerky/Edge VS .5 Evolution. Squeak! Jerky looks so little and pudgy next the rest... and I hate saying that because Jerky is neither little nor pudgy. Anyways, the match was terrific on all levels: Athletically, Raw's storyline-wise, and from the exploding cupcake-ness of the muse issues running around in my brain.
Matt in retroHardyz gear! Mmmmmmmm. His punches have improved. He emotes pissed better than a-go-nized by teh_pain.
Lita: NO MORE PANTSUITS. NO MORE. NONE. EVER. Also, I realize it is the preferred ending to Horrific Pregnancy (tm) plots all over wrestledom, but do not lose the baby due to in-ring injury. And while I thought it was cool that you and Stacy discussed options, WWE needs an abortion angle like it needs one about necrophillia.
Poor Eugene. All he wanted was a clean break. and the bitter, Icanbookbetterthancreative smark in me thought the match would have ended better if Regal had tried to hide the brass nux in his trunks (to keep them out of Flair's clutches)rather than put them on and then have Eugene find them anyways. Judgemental!Me was all "OMG! Regal U shuldnt put them on and cheet! Even if HHH used tehm 1st!!1"
Fiesty Benoit! I just love how that guy works matches. He and Eddie are ring psychology masters. When he plunged into the ring and immediately started kicking Kane to bring him down... guh! That goes miles towards the illusion that the match is real, that Benoit had thought out a plan to win, that Kane was a credible enough opponent to garner pre-match planning. Both wrestlers looked better for it.
Didn't like the ending, I thought Kane should have hung on a little longer or tried to escape a few more times before submitting. Not because I think Benoit isn't deadly enough. Kane is a monster, a psycho. Psychos don't give up easily. They roar instead of tap.
When Kane went to chokeslam Lita, I was like "Here comes the injury ending" but then he saved his baby, thus dragging out the storyline for another week.
Edit: I forgot to complain about the Diva Search. Still boring, but the chicks were hotter this time. One girl who was rejected either was Davana Median or looked exactly like her.
