Okay, so I epic fail at avoiding lj

Answer: both. I can has the suck at many things at the same time! Yaye!

I took some opera-time to work on my writing processes. My self-censoring and feeling low about what I produce or don't is killing me. I came up with a few tricks to counteract the toxic things I do to myself, but I'm nowhere near a "good place". Ugh. Why am I such a drama queen about this?

Other things I've been up to:

*Really, really lame fangirling. i mailed stuff to Beth. Yes, I did. When I first read Matt's pleas, I was all *snort* how about the millionaires buy their own new pants? But then I thought of poor Beth. Her month had gone like this:

-common-law man gets suspended from his 'rassling job for teh_drugs.
-double-wide burns to ground, killing dog.
-brother-in-law goes on the internet, pleads to crazy groupies to mail them pants.

If anyone needed a random gift of spa products and a happy spoon, it was Beth. Plus, but for the grace of God, with my white trash upbringing, that could have been my life. Except instead of a wrestler, my common-law man would be an employee at the ketchup factory and instead of the internet, any brothers-in-law of mine would have stood in front of the laundry mat and yelled.

*Genealogy. I am far more British and far less Norwegian than I thought. Also, one of my way, way, way back grandfathers was a knight and I found some crazy story about him liking to hang out in the woods all night with some buddy of his. Hahahaha, NO AN-CEST.

*I left baby food and honey in my mailbox for the food drive today. What did you leave?

*My car had a $1200 oil change. I dropped it off for said oil change, and when I came to pick it up, the mechanic was like "I want to show you something." That something turned out to be "See these two pieces here. They're suppose to be one piece. See these 3 pieces here. They're supposed to be one piece." I liked it better when I had a company car, and parts in too many pieces was their problem.

I'm loving the trainwreck that is Mike Adamle. I feel bad, must be a girl thing. He's horrible, so very horrible at announcing, whose-bright-idea-was-it-to-put-a-window-in-front-of-the-sun kind of horrible, but everyone is slamming him so hard I feel for him. Like, wrestling announcers in general are horrible, and it's more WWE's fault for not prepping him.

Regal as King hasn't been as fun as I hoped, but I guess that's because King Booker is such a hard act to follow. I'm shamefully interested in what will come with he and young Randall being in cahoots.

That Mpreg space-age gladiator fic on SML, sadly as soon as I read the line "In the year 2525..." this got stuck in my head.

Damn hippies!

AN-CEST?? ROFL!

Why am I such a drama queen about this?

Everyone needs something to be screwed-up about.

Of course, most of us, being greedy, have more than one thing. :P

Or, you can think about it more positively: Everyone needs something to work on in themselves.

You know her common-law brother-in-law probably did stand in the laundry mat and yell, too. They just refused to tape him doing it. I think you are just generally a pretty lovely and thoughtful person.

I have missed you and am almost as excited about this space pregnancy epic as I am about your (I hope?) return.

Note To Self - Must Refine Statement Before POSTING...
