May. 28th, 2006 11:14 amSo the doctor's appt. went awful. I knew it wasn't going to be good--- over the years, I've figured out how to stiff the tests to my favor, how to get around undesirable meal and med orders, how not eating can imitate taking a higher dosage, how taking a dose a few hours before a blood test can mask a week's worth of green living.
The problem is all the tinkering catches up. Usually, in a bad way. I get lectured, lectured, lectured. This time along with the lectures, I got poked, poked, poked. Blood drawn from everywhere that had a vein. Thank God I'n not a dude. And I got put back on a tight check-up schedule. Which sucks. Want to pick up a nasty never-ending cold? Go to the doctor's office once a week.
I hate this.
