Back from outer space
Dec. 13th, 2004 07:08 pmWisconsin, rather but kinda sorta the same thing.
Had to go there for work, husband and some friends drove up and we make a weekend of it.
Highlights include:
World's most dangerous hotel bathtub. It was on a pedestal or something, raising in about 6 inches higher than the floor. Total crashlanding everytime I stepped out of it.
Was able to fulfill some of the Holiday requests from friends' lists.
Broke even at the casino.
Had a good think about writing.
Ate lots of three bean salad. The side dish that's both nerdy and delicious.
My friend called me wonderful. Woefully, I am a praisewhore.
Lots of terrifying business hybrids: LongJohn Silvers/Taco Bell. McDonalds'/gas station.
/weekend getaway.
Have the next two days off of work. Will probably spend it at the post office. Erg.
From most reviews it sounds as though it's a good thing that I missed Armageddon. I doubt I would have bought it anyways.. can't remember the last SD! PPV I bought. Looking very forward to Raw. Bischoff's back and better than ever.
