Eddie

I'm shaking. Eddie was only 5 years older than me.

I don't know what's worse: feeling this awful or raging against the thought that I should be used to this. Too many are going too soon.

He brought so much joy. Wrestling, speaking, giving those "I've been naughty" looks. God... I'm glad I watched his match on Smackdown. I'm glad I saw it.

Godspeed Eddie.

He was only a year older than my fiance. That scares the crap out of me.

Having been there, his family has all my sympathy. There's nothing that can get you past something like this. Time just makes it easier to bear.

He'll be missed. RIP Eddie.

*sigh* Yeah. It's. Really fucked up. Losing another wrestler is something that's not surprising. And yet, it doesn't make it hurt any less.

He was such a good guy. He was the guy we all wanted the best for.

It really sucks.

He was only three years older than me, and yes, it's such a loss to not only wrestling itself, but to wrestling fans. And his family, God. Just when everything was back on track for him.

I think that's what makes this so awful. Everybody talks about how low Eddie could go... but everytime he came back better. He's someone who really, really deserved all his successes-- unlike lots of folks in wresting--, and it's a shame that his life was cut so damn short.
