Lance Storm on Shane Helm's recovery [Helms] is in such good spirits he has already started ribbing me. Tuesday (the day after surgery), before I had called him, I get a text message from him asking me to call him and gave me his hospital room phone number. At first I was worried that something was wrong, so I called him back immediately, and guess what, the numbered he sent me was for a Gay Chat Line. I laughed so hard, and text messaged him back, this message, “You Bastard! I actually called that number.” To this he replied, “LOL Yah but how long did you chat.” Not to be out done, I returned his text with, “I’m actually still chatting, for some reason Christian answered the call.”

Cole: Akio was having a great time at the bar last night. Buyin' drinks for everyone, playing the jukebox, two-stepping with the divas. With. The. Divas.

JBL: Beards.

More wrestling

I scrounged up a copy of the WWE magazine with a big Jeff article. Highlights include:

--a picture of his refrigerator. Booze and Eggos.
--a blurb about a giant plywood V1 hand he made for Matt for Christmas. He took it back when he felt Matt didn't properly appreciate it. They got in a big fight over it.
-- Pops Hardy rules everything.
-- Some of the pictures on Pop Hardy's walls are in baggies and hung on the wall with push pins.
--A little awww detail that made Opera wibble. Jeff talked about how Pops Hardy used to hang Matt's report cards on the fridge, and that there weren't too many of his up on the fridge. I went wibble because in most pics, Pops is hugging or touching Jeff more than Matt, and most of the Pops stories seem to feature Jeff. It's interesting to get Jeff's POV, and to hear about a moment of him feeling left out.
--that boy has a lovely profile.
